So last weekend I did a thing. I participated in my first-ever Pop-Up Shop! My goal was simple—get my name out in the community so people looking for Skin So Soft and skincare regimens will know I’m here. And judging by the number of calls and orders this past week, it’s safe to say I met my goal!
Pop-Up Shops aka Vendor Events, is one of several ways that Avon Representatives advertise our businesses. I’m sure you’re familiar with going door-to-door aka Ding Dong Avon Calling 😀 But others you may not know about are craft shows and flea markets. Some businesses allow us to leave our brochures in their establishments. And we have Representatives who advertise by wearing Avon products while others start conversations with people they meet while out doing errands. Most of us use a combination of these things as one alone isn’t enough.
Avon is a relationship selling business, and all of the advertising opportunities listed above provide a chance to build relationships with customers. However, the Company recognizes that times have changed. They know billions of people are on social media and encourage us to use those platforms to advertise too. Personally I have a presence on Google and most social media platforms, but I post most often on my Facebook business page, Avon Now by Inez Campbell. Go ahead and “Like” it if you want to know about sales and special promotions.
